Suspected Two Policemen Involved In a Bullion Van Robbery


 


Immediate investigations have established the engagement of two policemen in  a number of other suspects. The interrogations are continuing, and we assure  to bring all guilty people to justice soon,” the statement added.

According to the Police,  the public will be given further notice as soon as possible without compromising the ongoing interrogations.

“The Police informed the general public that the Ghana Police Service will continue to work hard through thick and thin to get rid of  our country of criminal activities that disturb the peace and stability of the nation. The Ghana Police therefore, call on all to support us in this activity.


The Police Service says its immediate investigations have established the engagement of two of its officers in some of the cases of bullion van attacks. From a statement released on Monday, signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Superintendent Alexander Kwaku Obeng, the police made it clear that they have made a breakthrough in the investigations into the multiple bullion van robberies in the Greater Accra Region.

We’ve been experiencing similar cases but most occurred in the middle of last year.

They occurred at Kingsway in February 2021, Baatsona Spintex in March 2021, Jamestown Adedemkpo in June 2021, and the attempted robbery incident at Kaneshie Industrial Area . We assure you to follow and keep updating on any latest news on this case.
